Summary: | The invention discloses a modularized multi-level power regulator submodule lower tube open-circuit fault positioning method. The method comprises two steps of fault module pre-screening and fault module accurate positioning. According to the fault module pre-screening, possible fault sub-modules are preliminarily screened out according to the maximum voltage value of each fundamental wave period. And the fault module is positioned according to a given pulse signal and the change trend of the output voltage of the given pulse signal to finally determine the fault position. The fault positioning method is suitable for fault positioning of a rectification state with unobvious voltage change, and high-reliability operation of the modular multi-level power regulator is realized.
