Summary: | The present invention relates to a mesh, preferably an aquaculture mesh, where the mesh comprises cords connected in meshes, where each cord comprises one or more yarns, the yarns have a toughness of at least 0.6 N/tex, and where the mesh size of the mesh is at least 8 mm, characterized in that the cords further comprise a polymer resin, the polymer resin being a polymer resin, and the polymer resin being a polymer resin. Wherein the polymer resin is a homopolymer or copolymer of ethylene and/or propylene, and wherein the polymer resin has a density in the range of 860 to 970 kg/m3, a melting temperature in the range of 40 to 140 DEG C, and a heat of fusion of at least 5 J/g, as measured according to ISO 1183.
