Summary:Provided is a carbon dioxide reduction catalyst which is used in a reduction reaction of carbon dioxide and which has high methanol selectivity. A carbon dioxide reduction catalyst, which is used in the production of methanol by a reduction reaction of carbon dioxide, contains Au and Cu as catalyst components, and contains ZnO as a support. The catalyst component preferably contains 7 to 25 mol% of Au as the catalyst component. As a result, a high selectivity of methanol can be obtained, for example, a selectivity of 80% or more. The carbon dioxide reduction catalyst can achieve a high selectivity of methanol even under conditions of 240 DEG C or less and 50 bar or less. 本发明提供一种用于二氧化碳的还原反应且甲醇选择率高的二氧化碳还原催化剂。一种二氧化碳还原催化剂,其在通过二氧化碳的还原反应来生成甲醇时使用,包含Au和Cu作为催化剂成分,包含ZnO作为载体。在催化剂成分中,优选含有7~25mol%的作为催化剂成分的Au。由此,可得到甲醇的高的选择率、例如80%以上的选择率。上述二氧化碳还原催化剂即使在240℃以下、50bar以下的条件下也可得到甲醇的高的选择率。
