Summary: | The invention provides a production method for producing trimethylolpropane by recycling carbide slag, which comprises the following steps: preparing calcium hydroxide solution from carbide slag produced by preparing PVC (polyvinyl chloride) by an acetylene method as a catalyst, and adding the calcium hydroxide solution into a condensation reaction for preparing trimethylolpropane by taking n-butyraldehyde and formaldehyde as raw materials.
