The invention relates to a welding system for a box beam. The welding system comprises a conveying device, a steel bar conveying device, a steel bar positioning and welding device, a steel bar cutting device, a side plate conveying device and a control assembly. The conveying device is used for conveying side plates of the box beam. The rebar conveying device is used for conveying rebars. The steel bar positioning and welding device is provided with a steel bar grabbing assembly, a welding assembly and a steel bar shearing assembly which are movably arranged, the steel bar grabbing assembly is used for bearing steel bars and attaching the steel bars to the upper surfaces of the side plates, the welding assembly is used for welding and fixing the steel bars to the side plates, and the steel bar shearing assembly is used for cutting off the steel bars. The reinforcing steel bar cutting device is used for cutting reinforcing steel bars welded to the side plates into multiple sections. The side plate conveying de
