Summary:The invention provides an electric power system look-ahead scheduling method and system. The method comprises the following steps: establishing a discrete-continuous time random look-ahead scheduling model considering AGC dynamic constraint of a thermal power generating unit and energy storage; for the established model, adding actual constraints to identify the unit quitting the AGC operation; in the prospective time period, simplifying the built AGC dynamic models of the thermal power generating unit and the energy storage power station by adopting a continuous time model; and model solving: firstly adopting a 01 variable complementary relaxation method to solve the energy storage charge and discharge constraint, then utilizing a heuristic method to solve the scheduling time period to identify the actual constraint of the unit quitting the AGC operation, and finally adopting a Benders decomposition algorithm to solve to obtain the scheduling instruction of the thermal power unit and the energy storage power
