When the user indicates to switch the media resource program to the target network media resource, the display device can determine the target interaction application corresponding to the target network media resource. And when it is detected that the target interaction application does not establish the communication connection of the preset type, the display device sends the user JS file to the target interaction application so as to control the target interaction application to establish the communication connection of the preset type according to the user JS file. The target interaction application can send a media resource program playing stopping request based on the user JS file, and the display device stops displaying the media resource program and switches to display the target network media resource. Therefore, the display device stops playing the media asset program, so that the network media asset
