Summary:Disclosed herein is a sensor for noninvasive measurement of CO2 partial pressure (pCO2) in human skin. The sensor includes: a housing; a gas measurement chamber for measuring a gas; at least one breather pipe for communicating the gas diffused through the skin to the gas measurement chamber; a broadband light source that transmits light into the gas measurement chamber; a detector system includes a first photodetector and a second photodetector. The first photodetector detects light at a wavelength in which CO2 absorbs light, and the second photodetector acts as a zero reference detector by measuring light in a free band in which no gas absorbs light, in which the path length, the desired reception angle and the maximum inner diameter of the gas measurement chamber are optimized according to different levels of CO2 partial pressure, the path length has a first predetermined range, the desired receiving angle has a second predetermined range, and the maximum inner diameter has a third predetermined range. 本文公开
