The invention discloses a 3, 4-disubstituted maleimide compound and a preparation method of the 3, 4-disubstituted maleimide compound. The structural formula of the 3, 4-disubstituted maleimide compound is shown as a formula III. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing a compound as shown in a formula I and a compound as shown in a formula II in a solvent in a dry Schracker tube under the protection of nitrogen, adding an organic phosphine catalyst and an additive, and reacting to obtain a compound as shown in a formula III after the reaction is finished. The invention provides a novel method which is simple and easy to implement for synthesizing the 3, 4-disubstituted maleimide compound, and the diversity of the compound is increased; according to the method provided by the invention, a nucleophilic addition mode is adopted for reaction, and the method belongs to atom economy reaction; according to the method, organic phosphine is used as a catalyst, a transition metal catalyst
