The invention provides a composite material honeycomb and a preparation method thereof, and the method comprises the following steps: step S1, fiber and resin are adopted as raw materials, and a cross-section corrugated plate structure is manufactured by adopting a plurality of process technologies; s2, the two section corrugated plate structures are glued to form a hexagonal cavity structure, and the faces, connected with each other, of the two section corrugated plate structures are glued faces; and S3, the multiple hexagonal cavity structures are glued to form the composite material honeycomb array structure. The corrugated plate is formed by combining the corrugated plate units, the single unit forming process is simple, and the structural precision is high; a hexagonal honeycomb structure is formed in a cementing mode, and a cementing surface combination mode (cementing direction) is designed, so that the concentration of cementing stress in a single direction is avoided; a multi-structure array combinat
