Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide load securing devices and methods for securing a load in a shipping container. Generally, each load fixture includes a base and two wings, each wing having an angular engagement end. The wings are attached to the base and are movable relative to each other and relative to the base from a compact configuration in which a first distance separates the corner engagement ends to a fixed configuration in which a larger second distance separates the corner engagement ends.
