Summary: | The invention relates to a system and method for zero contact configuration through convergence/LACP ports. The present invention relates to systems and methods that allow for the use of a "Zero Contact" configuration (ZTP) to seamlessly launch a device, such as a gateway/access point/switch, or any other network device connected through a different uplink type, such as an aggregated link (static LAG, LACP), convergence port, etc. The configuration is particularly suited for convergence and/or LACP ports to maintain automation and optimization advantages typically configured by ZTP. A method may include sending a discovery message, and receiving a response message based on the discovery message.
