The invention discloses an essence formula for increasing cigarette fragrance and improving smoke quality. The essence formula comprises the following components in parts by weight: 1-4 parts of a faint scent base; 2-5 parts of a fragrance base capable of improving fineness and smoothness; 0.2-1 part of a tobacco fragrance richness enhancing fragrance base; 1-4 parts of a fragrance base for reducing heat dryness; and 0.5-2 parts of a flue-cured tobacco aroma base.
