Summary: | The invention provides a cellulose ester phase difference film and application thereof. The phase difference film comprises the following components: cellulose ester, an additive and a solvent, wherein the additive is an esterified compound at least containing three branched chain structures. The esterified compound comprises any one of substituted or unsubstituted phosphate, substituted or unsubstituted glyceride, substituted or unsubstituted citrate, substituted or unsubstituted xylitol ester, substituted or unsubstituted sorbate, substituted or unsubstituted carboxylate and polyvinyl acetate; wherein the substituent group comprises at least one of C1-C30 alkyl, aryl, acetyl and halogen.
