Summary:A method and apparatus for indicating a prohibited status of a patient on bed is disclosed. A patient support device includes a frame and a mattress supported by the frame and arranged to support a patient thereon. Sensors are included to detect moisture on the patient and/or patient support device. The sensor generates a signal indicative of the presence of moisture on the patient support device.
