Summary: | The invention discloses a modified electrochemical cathode for degrading perfluorinated compounds and a preparation method of the modified electrochemical cathode, and belongs to the field of water pollution control. Aiming at an anaerobic environment in a polluted water body and the characteristic that a perfluorinated compound is easily attacked by a nucleophilic reagent so as to be reduced and degraded, a modified electrochemical cathode is prepared by adopting a carbon paper-loaded carboxyl carbon nanotube and octadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide which are relatively low in cost as a loading solution, and the perfluorinated compound is degraded by adopting an electrochemical reduction method; according to the invention, the degradation of the perfluorinated compound can be realized under a lower voltage (-1.8 V), the degradation rate is greater than 99.1%, the defluorination rate is greater than 92.8%, and a new solution is provided for the degradation of the perfluorinated compound in underground water. |
