Summary: | The invention provides a monitoring system and a monitoring method for sleep apnea. The monitoring method comprises: obtaining a regression model; transmitting a radio-frequency signal to the testee and receiving a reflected signal corresponding to the radio-frequency signal, wherein the reflected signal comprises a heartbeat signal, a breathing signal and an activity signal; performing wavelet entropy analysis on the heartbeat signal and the respiratory signal to generate a first entropy corresponding to the heartbeat signal and a second entropy corresponding to the respiratory signal, respectively; calculating a sleep apnea index according to the first entropy, the second entropy and the activity signal based on a regression model; according to the sleep apnea index, judging whether the testee has a sleep apnea event or not so as to generate a judgment result; and outputting a judgment result.
