A separator for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a polyolefin porous film, the peak area ratio R of the (200) plane, which is calculated on the basis of a diffraction intensity distribution curve obtained by wide-angle X-ray diffraction performed by irradiating the surface with X-rays from the vertical direction, R = the peak area of the diffraction peak of the (200) plane: the peak area of the diffraction peak of the I (200)/(110) plane: I (110) is 0.15 or more.
