The invention provides a method and system for remotely resetting a BMC chip, a storage medium and equipment. The method comprises the steps that a debugging machine and the BMC chip on a server mainboard are connected through a serial port debugging line; the debugging machine sends a reset signal to the BMC chip through a serial port debugging line; and the BMC chip completes resetting according to the resetting signal. According to the method, the debugging time is saved when the BMC chip needs to be reset in the laboratory debugging process, and the research and development efficiency is improved. On-site support of research and development personnel is avoided in a production line/customer on-site problem debugging process, the cost is saved, and the timeliness of problem solving is improved. 本发明提供了一种远程重置BMC芯片的方法、系统、存储介质及设备，方法包括：通过串口调试线连接调试机器与服务器主板上的BMC芯片；调试机器通过串口调试线将重置信号发送给BMC芯片；BMC芯片根据重置信号完成重置。根据本发明在实验室调试过程中需要重置BMC芯片时节约了调试时间，提高了研发效率。在产线/客户现场问题调试过程中避免了研发人员的现场支持，节约了成本，提高问题解决的时效性。
