Summary:An electrical protection device (12) includes a first moving contact (66), a trip (114), and a switching mechanism (150) configured to switch between a standby configuration and a trip configuration, the first contacts being in a conductive position or an isolated position, respectively. The release is configured to switch the switching mechanism to a trip configuration when the release is excited by a predetermined type of electrical fault. According to the invention, the protection device comprises:-a slider (262) movable between a standby position and a tripped position, in which the slider switches the switching mechanism to the tripped configuration,-a slider spring (266) tending to move the slider from the standby position to the tripped position, and-a lock (264) holding the slider in the standby position in the locked position.
