A game device that executes a process relating to a developed game in which game elements are defined into a plurality of developed stages including branches that cause the growth states of the game elements to be different, the game device being provided with: an execution means that executes the process; a display unit for displaying game elements; an input means for receiving an operation input relating to the formation of the game elements; a management unit that manages the development stages of the game elements; and a determination means for, when a change condition for changing from the first development stage to the second development stage in the development game is satisfied, determining one growth state corresponding to an operation input relating to development completed until the change condition is satisfied from among the growth states of the game elements in the branch direction relating to
