Summary: | The invention relates to the field of insect prevention and control, in particular to a paecilomyces lilacinus strain XI-5 and crude toxin extracted and identified from the paecilomyces lilacinus strain XI-5 and generated by secondary metabolites of the paecilomyces lilacinus strain XI-5. The invention proves that the secondary metabolite of the paecilomyces lilacinus strain XI-5 generates cyclosporin C. The cyclosporin C has a stomach toxicity effect on bemisia tabaci adults. After the cyclosporin C is applied for 24 hours, the LC50 concentration of the cyclosporin C on bemisia tabaci adults is 31.75 g/ml; compared with a control group, the LC30 concentration of cyclosporin C leads to reduction of female egg laying amount/reproductive power of bemisia tabaci.
