Summary:An injection device is presented that incorporates a dose setting mechanism, wherein the dose setting mechanism includes a fail-safe feature that activates during an interrupted dose delivery event. A dose selector having a protruding rib engages a protrusion on the snap element to prevent distal movement of the dose knob with removal of axial force in a proximal direction during dose delivery by a user.
