Summary:The present invention relates to a polycyclic compound and an organic electroluminescent device using the same. Disclosed are polycyclic compounds that can be used in various organic layers of organic electroluminescent devices. The polycyclic compound has a characteristic skeleton structure and a characteristic substituent group. Also disclosed is an organic electroluminescent device comprising the polycyclic compound. The organic electroluminescent device includes a light-emitting layer using the polycyclic compound as a dopant and an anthracene derivative having a characteristic structure as a host.
