Embodiments of the invention disclose a data processing method and apparatus, an electronic device, a storage medium and a program product. The method comprises the steps of obtaining to-be-processed data received from a data source system; judging whether the to-be-processed data comprises a plurality of pieces of sub-data which need to be respectively processed at a business level or not; when the to-be-processed data comprises a plurality of pieces of sub-data needing to be processed in a business level, packaging the plurality of pieces of sub-data into a plurality of basic transmission units; and sending the plurality of basic transmission units to a transmission channel. According to the scheme, after the Flume system receives the to-be-processed data comprising the multiple pieces of sub-data, the existing interceptors can process the to-be-processed data according to a normal processing mode, and numerous existing interceptors do not need to be transformed, so that the cost is saved, and the data proc
