Summary: | The invention belongs to the field of medicine preparation, and particularly relates to application of metformin in preparation of a medicine for preventing pulmonary oxygen poisoning caused by high partial pressure oxygen, the metformin remarkably reduces lung tissue bleeding and alveolar structure damage caused by the high partial pressure oxygen, and pulmonary edema is reduced; the preparation method comprises the following steps: regulating and controlling inflammation-related reaction pathways such as P38/38MAPK, p-JAK1, p-STAT3 and the like; the lung inflammation is relieved; oxidative stress damage caused by high-pressure oxygen is reduced by reducing oxidative stress products; and the apoptosis proportion of the bronchial endothelial cells is reduced by regulating and controlling the c-myc, caspase-3 and bcl-2 pathways. Therefore, the lung injury caused by lung-type oxygen poisoning is relieved.
