A sliding vehicle door comprises a frame, a vehicle door and a driving connecting rod component, the first end of the driving connecting rod component is connected to the frame, the second end of the driving connecting rod component is connected to the inner side face of the vehicle door, and the driving connecting rod component rotates with the first end as the axis so that the second end of the driving connecting rod component can drive the vehicle door to be opened or closed in the direction approximately parallel to the frame.
