The invention relates to a method for repairing an acrylate polymer material. The method comprises the following steps: (1) coating a repairing compound or a solution containing the repairing compound on the surface of the acrylate polymer material to be repaired; and/or (2) soaking the acrylate polymer material to be repaired by using a solution containing the repairing compound; the repair compound is composed of one or more cationic salts, and at least one cationic salt is a divalent cationic salt or a cationic salt greater than divalent. The repairing method disclosed by the invention has a good repairing effect on the acrylate polymer material subjected to strong acid, strong alkali or high-salt-content environments and the like, and the mechanical property and the chemical property of the repaired acrylate polymer material can be recovered to the level before degradation.
