According to the automatic bag clamping mechanism, a bag opening of a flexible freight bag can be tightly pressed on the outer surface of the lower end of a discharging pipe through a clamping arm assembly, the subsequent filling process is facilitated, and shaping of the bag opening of the flexible freight bag can be achieved through a bag opening assembly. The invention further discloses a using method of the automatic bag clamping mechanism, and in the material filling process, the bag opening of the flexible freight bag is pressed to the lower end of the discharging pipe through the clamping arms; after filling is completed, the clamping arms release the bag opening, the bag opening rod translates in the direction away from the outer surface of the discharging pipe and vertically moves downwards at the same time, and linear bag opening of the bag opening is achieved.
