The method comprises the following steps: acquiring an echo signal of an arc-shaped synthetic aperture radar; performing imaging processing on the echo signal by adopting a wavenumber domain algorithm to obtain a point target impulse response; the imaging result with the continuous point targets is analyzed, and the overlapping property of false signals generated by impulse responses of the two continuous point targets with the resolution smaller than the distance resolution is analyzed.
