Summary: | The invention provides a preparation method of an aluminum-based composite material containing NbB2 and Al3Nb reinforced phases, which comprises the following steps: reacting excessive Al melt with B powder to obtain AlB2; nb powder and excessive aluminum melt are subjected to a reaction, and NbAl3 is obtained; the AlB2 and the excessive Al3Nb react in an aluminum melt to generate NbB2, and after refining and standing, pouring is conducted to obtain an aluminum-based ingot blank containing an NbB2 and Al3Nb reinforced phase; and the aluminum-based ingot blank is subjected to quenching and aging treatment, and the aluminum-based composite material containing the NbB2 and Al3Nb reinforced phases is obtained.
