Summary: | Provided is an ultraviolet light-emitting device which has high output and is capable of suppressing peeling between a substrate and a lens or the like. A light-emitting device (100) is provided with a substrate (110), an ultraviolet light-emitting element (120), a bonding layer (130), a lens (140), an adhesive layer (150), and a fluorocarbon (160). The adhesive layer (150) bonds the substrate (110) and the lens (140) in a state in which the ultraviolet light-emitting element (120) is sandwiched therebetween. The fluorocarbon (160) is a liquid at normal temperature and pressure. The fluorocarbon (160) fills the gap between the second surface (120b) of the ultraviolet light-emitting element (120) and the lens (140) in a state of being in contact with the second surface (120b) of the ultraviolet light-emitting element (120) and the lens (140), and is in contact with the side surface (120c) of the ultraviolet light-emitting element (120) and not in contact with the adhesive layer (150).
