Summary: | The embodiment of the invention relates to a back-to-back conversion system and a converter single-side exit method. The method comprises the following steps: respectively reducing active power and reactive power of the conversion system to zero according to a preset rate; controlling the direct-current voltage of an opposite-side converter of the to-be-quitted converter to be zero; locking the to-be-quitted converter, and disconnecting a network side incoming switch on the side so as to quit the to-be-quitted converter; separating a direct current bus isolation disconnecting link at each side of the double-side converter; and controlling the direct-current voltage of an opposite-side converter of the to-be-withdrawn converter to a rated value, and controlling the to-be-withdrawn converter to operate in an STATCOM mode.
