Summary: | The invention discloses a direct-current cable insulation thickness design method, which considers space charge influence, introduces space charge influence factors into a direct-current cable insulation thickness calculation method, and further considers factors of non-uniform electric field distribution of an insulation layer caused by temperature difference. An electric field distortion factor is introduced into a calculation method of the insulation thickness of the direct-current cable, and meanwhile, a calculation method of a space charge influence factor and an insulation electric field distortion factor is provided. According to the method, potential safety hazards caused by operation of the direct-current cable can be avoided, and meanwhile the phenomena that the direct-current cable is large in local electric field and prone to breakdown faults can be avoided.
