The preparation method comprises the following steps: in a vacuum environment, mixing alkali-treated natural fibers, isocyanate, an organic solvent and a silane coupling agent, and carrying out isocyanate-silane coupling agent combined modification reaction to obtain silane-isocyanate modified alkali-treated natural fibers; and mixing the silane-isocyanate modified alkali treated natural fiber, epoxy resin and an imidazole curing agent to obtain the natural fiber reinforced epoxy resin composite material.
