The invention relates to an ocean buoy automatic monitoring system, which comprises a buoy station and a display unit, and is characterized in that the buoy station is provided with a control module, an alarm unit, a detection unit and a wireless transceiver module in communication connection with the display unit; the detection unit comprises a weather detection module used for detecting weather on water, an overwater detection module used for detecting moving objects on water, a water quality detection module used for detecting underwater water quality and a data collection module used for collecting data of the weather detection module, the overwater detection module and the water quality detection module. A buoy station of the system is provided with an overwater detection module so that the overwater detection module can conveniently detect an object moving on the water surface, and when the distance between the object and the buoy station is a set distance, an alarm unit of the system starts to give an
