Summary: | The invention provides a cable reel rotation angle calibration method and system based on digital image processing. In the travelling crane operation process, the image acquisition device installed on the travelling crane shoots and obtains the real-time image of the cable reel below the travelling crane, the server is used for detecting the cable reel target on the real-time image of the cable reel, the frame boundary line corresponding to the cable reel target is recognized, and therefore the rotation angle of the frame boundary line relative to the travelling crane is calculated; according to the rotation angle of the frame boundary line relative to the crane, the crane clamp is triggered to correspondingly clamp the cable reel and adjust the rotation angle and/or position of the cable reel.
