Summary: | A filtration system interconnect structure having a manifold with a rotatable manifold magnet of an associated magnet, a shroud with an alignment track, an actuation valve for water intake, and a filter cartridge with a rotatable filter magnet of an associated magnet, the manifold magnet and the filter magnet are in magnetic communication with each other, and are at least partially rotatably compatible, with the manifold magnet rotating with the filter magnet until the manifold magnet experiences a rotation stop exceeding a predetermined rotation of the filter magnet, thus allowing the manifold magnet to rotate with the filter magnet. The filter magnet is allowed to change polarity relative to the manifold magnet and generate a repulsive force to remove the filter cartridge from the shroud.
