Summary: | The invention discloses a production method of a wire rod 82B-2 for a prestressed concrete spiral rib steel wire. The production method comprises the steps of smelting, deoxidation alloying, LF ladle refining, continuous casting, heating, rolling and cooling. After being smelted and alloyed by a converter, the alloy comprises the following elements in percentage by weight: 0.83%-0.86% of C, 0.15%-0.35% of Si, 0.60%-0.90% of Mn, less than or equal to 0.020% of P, less than or equal to 0.015% of S, 0.20%-0.30% of Cr and the balance of iron. The product obtained through the method is stable in performance, the tensile strength Rm of the product is larger than or equal to 1180 MPa, the fracture surface expansion and contraction rate Z reaches 35% or above, and the method can be used for manufacturing the 1570 MPa prestressed concrete spiral rib steel wire.
