Summary: | The invention relates to a wing-free flight instrument, which has a plurality of lift rotors driven by an electric motor and rotating about different rotor axes. The flight instrument has at least one energy store for providing electrical energy necessary for operating the lift rotor, at least one control device for actuating the lift rotor and for communicating with a ground station, and at least two camera devices for detecting panoramic images. The minimum, spherical rotor envelope that surrounds all the lift rotors has a larger volume than the minimum, spherical camera envelope that surrounds the camera lenses of all the camera mechanisms. The camera mechanism spans a field of view, where the field of view surrounds the entire flight instrument, and where the lift rotor is outside of the field of view.
