Summary:The invention relates to the technical field of petroleum asphalt, and particularly provides a simple method for separating asphaltene from matrix asphalt to obtain the asphaltene by utilizing the solubility difference of each component of the asphalt in different solvents at room temperature. The different solvents comprise a good asphaltene solvent and a poor asphaltene solvent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1) dissolving asphalt in a good solvent to obtain a solution containing asphaltene, and filtering to remove inorganic matters and residual carbon; (2) dropwise adding the solution containing asphaltene into straight-chain alkane to separate out asphaltene to obtain turbid liquid; and 3) standing the turbid liquid, filtering, and drying a filter cake to obtain an asphaltene solid.
