The invention relates to a method for preparing salt by dechlorinating waste incineration fly ash, which comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing waste incineration fly ash and auxiliary materials according to a mass ratio of (1-2.5): 1, adding water, and granulating to prepare small balls; then drying is conducted, sintering is conducted for 1-2 h at the temperature of 800-900 DEG C, and after cooling is conducted, soaking and cleaning are conducted 2-3 times in clear water at the temperature of 20-80 DEG C; and then collecting the leachate obtained after soaking and cleaning each time, and evaporating and crystallizing the obtained leachate to obtain the salt. The auxiliary material is one of glass powder or clay or a mixture of the glass powder and the clay in any proportion. According to the method for preparing the salt by dechlorinating the waste incineration fly ash, chlorine salt in the waste incineration fly ash can be efficiently removed, and industrial-grade sodium chloride and potassium chl
