Summary:The invention relates to a method and a device for generating a three-phase voltage. Techniques are described for reducing DC ripple voltage in an inverter by determining a plurality of switching events for each of three phases in each pulse width modulation (PWM) cycle. The switching event provides a desired target output voltage for a respective PWM cycle. According to this determination of switching events, a comparison may be made to determine a first time period (T1) between the first switching event and the second switching event across all phases, and a second time period (T2) between the second switching event and the third switching event across all phases.
