A system is provided having an electronic device powered by at least one battery, a controller communicatively coupled to the at least one battery, where the controller is configured to: determine a state of charge of the at least one battery; and interrupting a function of the electronic device for at least one predetermined period of time based on the state of charge of the at least one battery, where the interruption indicates the state of charge of the at least one battery.
