The spinning station comprises a sliver supply mechanism, an opening mechanism and a spinning rotor for producing yarns from slivers; the yarn winding device comprises a winding roller and a pressing roller which cooperate with the yarn from the spinning rotor; a winding mechanism including a winding roller and a bobbin so as to wind the yarn on the bobbin, in which the yarn winding device acquires the yarn and includes a tube capable of at least partially accommodating and accumulating the yarn; and a control unit operatively connected with the yarn take-up mechanism, the sliver supply mechanism and the winding mechanism, the control unit being programmed such that during spinning, the yarn take-up device at least partially sucks a portion of the yarn in the tube to control relaxation of the yarn during spinning.
