The invention provides a spherical sounding probe with a soil sample taking-back function. The spherical sounding probe comprises a spherical probe body, a connecting column, a friction sleeve, an adapter, a probe rod, a soil sample collecting switch, a soil sample collecting opening and different types of sensors. The probe body is fixed on a connecting column, the connecting column is sleeved with a friction sleeve, the upper portion of the connecting column is connected with a probe rod through an adapter, the spherical probe body comprises two detachable hemispheres, the lower hemisphere is provided with a pore pressure sensor and an end resistance sensor, the upper hemisphere is a hollow soil sample storage device, and a soil sample collection opening is formed in the surface of the upper hemisphere. Opening and closing of the soil sample collecting opening are controlled through the soil sample collecting switch, and a temperature sensor, a tilt angle sensor, a side friction resistance sensor and a data
