Summary: | The invention relates to a slow-release slump retaining agent and a preparation method thereof. The slow-release slump retaining agent is prepared from the following raw materials: 2000-3000 parts of unsaturated polyether macromonomer; 5-15 parts of an initiator; 40 to 120 parts of unsaturated acid; 150 to 300 parts of an unsaturated functional monomer; and 1500 to 2000 parts of water. Wherein the unsaturated functional monomer contains a hydroxyl group, a sulfonic acid group and an ester group.
