A capacitor (1) is provided with: a capacitor element (3) in which a predetermined solution is held between an anode foil (5) and a cathode foil (7) between which a separator (6) is wound; a body case 2 that accommodates the capacitor element 3; and a sealing body 4 that seals the body case 2. In the capacitor (1), a part of the separator (6) is in contact at a plurality of positions or surfaces in a state in which the sealing body (4) is close to the surface of the capacitor element (3), the sealing body anti-degradation agent is dissolved in a lipophilic solvent, and the solution is cured by oxidation in the sealing body anti-degradation agent.
