The waste heat recovery system comprises a preheater, a three-way valve, a flue gas evaporator, an expansion machine, a heat regenerator, a condensation fan, a working medium pump, a liquid storage tank and a condenser. The system is a single-stage waste heat recovery system based on the organic Rankine cycle, waste heat of engine cylinder sleeve water and waste heat of engine tail gas can be recovered at the same time, and particularly, the flue gas evaporator exchanging heat with the engine tail gas can achieve the heat exchange area between a cycle working medium and the engine tail gas.
