Summary: | The invention relates to a method and a system for dispersing particles in a fluid. The method includes stirring a fluid (160) containing particles (164) in a stirring vessel (110) using a stirring device (120). During agitation, the fluid is recirculated by continuously withdrawing an amount of fluid from the withdrawal location (131). Furthermore, the particles are ground, where the particle size in the extracted fluid is reduced each time it passes through the grinding device (140). The extraction fluid that has passed through the grinding device is continuously reintroduced into the stirring vessel at a reintroduction location (151). The reintroduced fluid is mixed with the fluid in the stirring vessel in a mixing region (161) defined by the stirring device, and the determination of the extraction position is such that the extracted fluid contains particles having an average particle size different from the average particle size of the particles in the mixing region.
